The third conference is a result of previous conferences on the value of nutraceuticals (RAIN I, 2004), muscadine grapes (RAIN II, 2005), and the South Carolina Muscadine Initiative.
RAIN Conference III will focus on the benefits of the newly formed Carolina Agri-Solutions Growers’ Association. Featured will be speakers from across the country and South Carolina, including muscadine growers and associated industries, marketing experts, financial institutions, and USDA officials

Speakers are coming from Texas A&M University, University of Arkansas, Clemson University, Arbor One (formerly Pee Dee Farm Credit), Post Familie Vineyards in Altus, Arkansas, Irvin House Vineyards, SC, USDA, Coastal Carolina University, and Hyman Vineyards.
